Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is straw gold, slight chill haze but pretty transparent, head is off white with fine bubbles and head presents 1+ fingers thick on the initial pour with a lingering thin top and ring on glass sides.
Smell is light biscuit and bread notes, hint of belgian wit yeast spiciness but limited, no spice addition/coriander but hint of orange peel.
Taste is light biscuit, some bread, light belgian yeast spiciness, limited spice additions, light sweetness.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, low/moderate bitterness, lingering crisp bite on tongue.
Overall a lighter wit with some biscuit notes and light spice, a little crisp or biting in the mouthfeel.

On tap in a 20 ounce mug.
Unfiltered pale golden colored brew with a fluffy white cap that retains well and leaves sticky web lacing.
Grassy and light wheat and dry barley. Hop notes are floral with a touch of citrus. Subtle vanilla.
Floral, some light citrus, sweet cream.
It’s light and smooth with a cool tangy finish.
Not bad for a light and easy pre-IPA beer.

Look: It pours light gold with a white head. Head retention is good.
Smell: It has aromas with some earthly elements, dough, and low orange.
Taste: It is doughy with a bit of cracker. There are low levels of coriander, orange, and citrus. There are very low flowery elements as well.
Feel: It has a medium light body.
Overall, It is a bit much on the dough and cracker because the other elements get lost.

Poured into Pilsener glass. It pours a a cloudy, pale-yellow color with one finger of milk-white head and lacing. It smells bready with lemon peel and hops. It has a a mild, pleasant taste of wheat biscuit, lemon peel, and coriander. There is also a touch of orange at the finish that brings a hint of sweetness. This Witbier is light and crisp, pleasantly carbonated, and a sessionable ABV of 4.% I had this at the beach and it was enjoyable in that setting but there are better Witbiers available. I'm surprised by the wide variance in ratings: from 1.46 to 4.36.

This witbier is an average looker for the style: a very hazy, effervescent pale-gold beer with a giant fluffy white head that quickly fades into nonexistence; lacing is scant when present at all. The nose is the first sign that something is amiss: while the light-medium intensity is appropriate to the style, the dominant citrus notes are off, being musty and funkily sour, and there is an odd, tart gluey smell that reminds me of Elmer's and definitely does not belong in a witbier. The palate is overbearing and awry: a very strong, very sour apple/citrus flavor dominates, completely obscuring everything else, except for some very unwelcome vinegar notes. The finish is unpleasantly sour and lingers for way too long. Given that the marketing text on the can claims this beer to have "a perfect balance of flavors that are subtle and enjoyable" I have to hope that there was an issue with this batch (17 August 15 if I have deciphered their code dating scheme correctly), because the beer I got was godawful and did not match that description in the least. Light and refreshing. Easy to drink. Nice citrus and coriander. Quick finish. Not really a lingering after taste.

12 ounce can - $2.25 at Tasty Beverage Co. in Asheville, North Carolina.
Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, yellow-hued body with a thin, rather brief, white head.
Smell: Mercy. A buttery-smelling caramel scent, and a fairly strong one at that overshadows any meager citrus notes and any perceivable spice elements.
Taste: As expected from the aroma, it's an odd, oddly sweet caramel coupled with butter flavor that gives a curious sensation of kettle corn. Maybe a flash of herb and lemon under there, who knows, really, as it's mainly the rich, sweet, buttery flavor. I was hoping for an under-performing wit at worst, a delightfully passable wit at best, so this was a bit of a surprise.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-low carbonation.
Overall: Heavens, no!
