From notes
A-Pours a hazy copper color. Thin seam of off-white head. Light lacing. The body looks oily.
S-A truly unique nose. Very tropical and zesty. It's almost smells like a mixed drink with tropical rum. A high, concentrated sweetness blends in with the enormous tangy hoppiness.
T-Amped up version of the nose. It's a diabolically duo of tangy and zesty tropical hops. The malt is also quite encompassing. Has a very unique yeasty flavor to it that seems to add to the wacky hop flavor.
M-Drinks shockingly well for 15%. You notice the richness of body and flavor but the booze is modest. Resiny and oily.
O/D-Need to try this again someday. A super unique beer. Easily the biggest DIPA I have had. More of an American Strong Ale. I honestly didn't enjoy the first sip but once I became accustomed to it I really began to understand and appreciate this brute.

Had this on tap at Novare Res during Portland Beer Week. It's a collaboration with Urbain Cousteau. Very dark and thick in appearance. Smells very sharp and roasty. The taste is crazy. It's kind of like a hopped up barley wine. They call it the "hulk" of an IPA and they ain't kidding. Over the top but delicious.
