Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 1/28/2021. Pours an attractive hazy orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves big thick streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.25

Aroma peach, mango, pear, tangerine, apricot, clove, and grapefruit rind. 3.75

Taste follows peach, pear, tangerine, clove, apricot, and grapefruit. 3.75

Mouthfeel is big, fairly soft carbonation, a little dry and sticky, and at 8.5% it goes down rather easy. 4

Overall nothing wrong with this one, but I am also far from dazzled. 3.75

LIQUID RIOT WHAT'S IN THE BOX? DIPA 5/20/18

Poured from the 16 oz. can into a Tree House tulip. No cannin date visible.

a: Nearly clear orange with an inch thick white head which receded to thin surface foam and dense lacing.

s: Moderately intense citrus and pine resin

t: Follows the nose with fairly heavy hop bite and some grassy notes. Dry finish. High ABV is well coverd by the ingredients.

m: Medium, good body and considerable carbontion tingle.

o; A flavorful DIPA, including a lot of fresh hop grassiness.

Nice DIPA. Canned 10/5/17.
Hazy orange color. Smallish white head, a little bit of lace.
Tropical fruit, piney aroma.
Pineapple, pine resin taste.
Nice lingering bitterness. Very easy to drink, so a little dangerous at 8.5% ABV.

from crowler purchased at brewery 2/19/17 (5 weeks old) - drank there as a pint, same flavor after the fact based on memory.
Pours a hazy orange/gold color with one finger fluffy white head.

Aroma is vaguely tropical fruit with hints of pineapple and mango, though not very strong.

Taste is hop forward but distinctly not like the aroma. I get a blast of moderately strong bitterness with a hint of citrus mixed in. Weak malt flavor with no real sweetness to it (as is common with "hazy IPAs" of the area). This is more in keeping with a standard East Coast IPA.

Feel is slightly sticky and a little creamy. Bitterness hangs on to the tongue through to the end. I want to stress that the creamy feel is worth an upvote. It is really well done and unexpected for the style.

Overall this is a pretty good East Coast DIPA... more so in that it goes down like a standard IPA. There is NO alcohol burn to slow you down, which makes this dangerous at 9% (they wrote 9.1% on the can actually). I would recommend this anytime. [Edit] - related to the previous review - I get *none* of the juicy/fruity tones described there. Maybe the recipe has changed since then. Too bad, that sounds really good :)

First tried 5/30/16 at brewery. Took home a crowler and consumed 6/15/16

L: A beautiful golden straw color very slight haze. Poured with a solid 2 fingers of head which layered the glass nicely.
S: Fruity, heavy with passionfruit. Picking up the slightest hint of pepper
T:Big hoppy flavor profile. very complex. Fruity up front for the briefest of moments switching to more of a grassy resin with peppery notes. Would never know that this weighs in at 9%
F:Almost too drinkable., very smooth, sticky
O: In my opinion this beer is world class. Although certainly different I put this right up there with the likes of Heady, Sip of sunshine and Doppelganger as the best DIPAs I've ever had. This beer is truly outstanding!!!!
