Dark brown but light passes easily through the edge of the glass. Modest head and very little lace.
Dark chocolate aroma with a touch of alcohol. Dry.
The body and flavor are smooth. The taste in particular is less harsh than unsweetened chocolate. It's more like semisweet cocoa made with milk. While smooth, the body is weaker than expected. The carbonation is neutral. Cocoa finish. Overall, a very drinkable Porter.
