A: Pours a pitch black color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a nice cap that leaves good lacing
S: Roasted malt, bourbon, maple, light oak, dark chocolate, vanilla, and caramel
T: Starts off with the roast and dark chocolate and then slowly picks up the maple, bourbon, and vanilla. Oak comes in towards the end. Finishes with lingering roast and oak
M: Full bodied with moderate carbonation
O: Definitely on the more subtle side as far as BA stouts go, but that along with the abv makes this a sure sipper. Opens up very nicely as it warms. As long as you aren't looking for the next CBS, this one will treat you well
