Picked up a few cans of Herbie at a MA store. Discovered it was a very enjoyable and refreshing product - unusually tasty for a session-type ale. Probably the best product to date that I've enjoyed from Liquid Riot. Didn't realize I was drinking an ale named after a tree but, thanks to the informative can, I learned of Herbie's prestige in the world of elm trees. Hope to repurchase this product again soon.

Pours a slightly hazy pale gold color with a half finger white head that leaves nice rings on the way down.
Aroma is very aromatic with floral citrus notes. Very pleasant.
Taste is similar to the smell with maybe the addition of some pine resin in the finish and a smidgen of something more tropical hanging around as well but it is tough to pinpoint. This is a great taste that is clean with no off flavors. The fruit blossom flavors really make this beer IMO.
Feel is light and crisp with a light bitterness lingering in the finish.
This is a pretty damn good session, full of flavor yet very refreshing and light feeling. I have not been a fan of Liquid Riot's beers but they surprised me with this one. I would definitely pick up more of this to have around. It is a good change up from the juicy sessions going around (which I also really enjoy).
