Collaboration beer with De Struise. Poured on-tap and served in a tulip, the beer is a clear, vibrant, copper-brown coloring with a thin, dense, off-white head. Nose of sugary sweetness, strawberry, gingerbread, and hints of booze. Flavors of rich, smoked caramel, ginger, berry sweetness, cinnamon, all-spice, a hint of Belgian funk, and some woody characteristics. RIch, robust, and smooth in mouth. Sweet and roasty aftertaste, still rich. Clean, smooth finish with a subtle cloying linger. Heavy brew.
