This is a very good doppelbock with some cocoa tossed in. It's a medium brown, much lighter in color than the other chocolate beers I'm tasting. It's also lighter in body and feel. The ABV is 8%, but it seems lighter than that. It's not very sweet at all. That makes it a good contrast to the higher ABV, "dessert" beers I'm also tasting. It's nicely done.
