not much to this one, but at the same time, how much should their really be to a kolsch, and from a style standpoint, this is more flavorful than a lot of them, and something i can real dig on from a light beer perspective. its not supposed to be too different, and it isnt, but it has a lot of cereal flavor, and is a bit fuller bodied than most of these, and i can taste the yeast, plain and european but almost lagered, cool and patient, i think its super refined and made from a place of understanding even if it is really easy drinking and simple beer. the world needs more of this. soe body, lots of bubbles, not so dry that it cant be appreciated on the back end too, and one of those local only beers that nobody will ever talk much about but deserves a little chatter and serves a needed role for me. blonde and robust for what it is, foamy and creamy feeling almost, and lingering without any sweetness. cool beer. big rip gets no love, none at all, but they deserve some, and they should get a little more air time with the nerds i reckon, but its also cool they fly so low under the radar, this place is groovy and chill, and id hate for it to get "found out" and we would lose the vibe. underrated to the max!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
