Growler into a pint glass.
4.75 A: Moderately murky amber brown color. Two fingers of creamy tan head. Retention is great and glass covering lacing is left.
4.5 S: The nose is amazing. It's both hop forward and has a strong malty backbone. Potent grassy and floral hops. Malts offer big toastiness and sweet caramel base. The balance is incredible. So much aroma with both major aspects of beer being represented.
4.5 T: Mild-moderate bitterness. Much like the nose, the hop flavor is big and beautiful featuring grassy and floral components. Strong neutral maltiness with just as much toastiness and caramel. Again awesome balance, especially given how hop forward this is.
5.0 M: The mouthfeel is spot on. Heavier medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Incredibly creamy and supremely smooth.
4.75 D: This brewery is young, but it's killing it. This is one of the best ambers I've ever had. Definitely worth seeking out if you happen to find yourself near Morgantown.
