Poured from 22 oz waxed bottle dated 9/27/2017. George Dickel barrel. Very nice artwork, but I'm not a fan of the wax.
A: Pours a clear purple tinted dark brown with 1-2 finger head with decent retention and settling to a thin ring. Moderate lacing.
S: Sweet whiskey combined with roasted malts and dark fruits - dates, plums, raisins.
T: Nice combination of fruits with raisins, plums, dates, and cherries. Subtle spices hanging around in the back. Whiskey is prominent and adds to the flavor profile.
M: Medium body with average carbonation. Finish is a little dry with some alcohol heat.
O: Very nice beer. This batch is an improvement over my first experience with it. Well done.
