Wow, what a freight train of flavor. Big aroma of fruit and clove. Somehow the Belgian yeast has give this a massive triple Hefeweizen sort of taste. And then there is the truly delicious pineapple flavor.
Just sweet enough with a pineapple astringency to balance. Sharp and then malty under the fruit. More cloves in the long, long nose. Bitterish yeasty aftertaste. Pours a hazy yellow with a sticky foam. Really a wonderful robust Tripel. From the 32 oz growler purchased at the brewery in Temecula, where the beer gods go on their days off.
