Pours a light orange-yellow color. Completely opaque, but not sludgy or overly thick in appearance. Good 3-4 finger off-white head on the beer. The aroma is immediately the thing you notice about this beer. Tropical hop wave must be describing the aroma because thats exactly what it is - bright tropical fruit, citrus, pineapple, with just a hint of sweetness to the aroma.
Taste follows the nose with lots of tropical fruit notes - not overly sweet, but definitely some sweetness there. Mild bitterness on the back end and finish. Feel is medium bodied, creamy, and smooth. Moderate carbonation.
Overall its a very nice, well crafted NE style IPA.
