Pours very dark, sugary smell. You can taste the chocolate, not too heavy for a stout. Solid chocolate stout

Good brew. Love the subtle chocolate and coffee aromas and flavors. While the cayenne pepper is unique could be exquisite, it is a bit over powering for me. The appearance and smell are 4.5 because the pepper aroma is not there. It's just a bit too spicy for my taste

On-tap at Mugs Alehouse, Brooklyn, NY

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a thin light tan head that died down, leaving a collar around the edge of the glass and a large patch of bubbles in the center.
S: Light to moderate aromas of cocoa nibs are present in the nose.
T: The taste is rather chocolaty and has bits of sweetness from the cocoa nibs, although these are contrasted by spiciness from the cayenne pepper in the finish.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied and a little smooth (from the lactose) on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has quite complex flavors and all of them seem to mesh together rather well.
