Had a small glass at Sunswick in Astoria. I'd call it an imperial amber; there's a cocoa butter character, but there's no roast like a couple of the pale-colored coffee stouts. The beer's a little chewy, with a big toffee candy taste. Not too sweet, and I guess it kind of tastes like chocolate. But it's a fine dessert beer.

Never heard of a white stout before. This pours a bright blond color. Aroma and taste is mostly of coconut and some spices along the lines of nutmeg. Interesting idea.

A fun and delicious beer, though not much "stout" nor "white chocolate" flavor for me.
Instead, the beer tastes almost of brandy or a fruity aperitif. Lots of dried fruit, sweet banana and apple liquer. A good pop of sweetness throughout and it does show its alcohol with a hint of booze.
Not something to have lots of, but a really interesting brew to sip on.
My first beer from this brewery and its actually quite good.

*BEWARE* This does not look like your usual stout. It pours blonde in color!
That being said, white chocolate is what you will get and the alcohol is hidden extremely well. Potent, full flavored and light in color. Worth a try, for sure.
