Served on tap in a 16 oz (473 ml) shaker pint at Alamo Draft House in Yonkers, NY.
A: Pours a thin, brown color with a less than one inger, wheat head, not even quite rim retention, and no lacing to speak of.
S: Tangy with Brett up front. Aromas of molasses, cocoa, and hay.
T: Sweet and soda like. Flavors of sarsaparilla, birch, sweet coffee, and molasses. Medium, somewhat less than adequate bitterness.
M: Thin bodied and watery with low carbonation.
O: This really does not fit the bill for a stout, a schwarzbier perhaps, and not a particularly stand out one.
