12 ounce can, no dating on it that I could find. One of my friends got this one for me on a visit to NC last week. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear amber color with about a half inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like caramel, toffee, bready malt and some apple. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some nutty and earthy flavors. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this mild ale a lot, it's flavorful and would be pretty easy to drink quite a few of these at a time! Wish I had more than just this one can, definitely worth trying if you're into mild ales!

Beautifully designed slim 12 oz. can from 6pk I got @ BearWaters visit. Dated 6/29/19, on the plastic keeper, with an old style sticker! Pub glass pour.
Looks -A deep gold, honey amber, lightly cloudy body has a nice full creme head that fades to lacing and light coating by 1/4 way down.
Smells- Generous full malt grains richness, mildly floral/honey/earthy aromas are really enticing and evidence of a quality brew.
Taste - Full on fresh lightly toasty malts, hints of toffee, caramelized elements, and very satisfying.
Feel - mild, smooth, fresh and wonderful.
Overall - 4.25 = easy repeater! A rare bird and a great find! Look for and try if you want a smooth rich ale to settle your tummy or rest your palate from hopburn...YES!

Pale amber color, brilliantly clear. Pours a medium sized white head, creamy and with good retention for the style.
Malty sweet nose, hints of toffee. Hints of fruity esters from the yeast?
Initial hit is malty and sweet like the nose. A bit too much of a malt bomb for the style. Wish the finish was a little crisper.
Fairly light body and medium low carbonation. MF in line with what I'd expect from a mild, though carbonation could be a little softer.
Rare to see this style from an American brewery, so a refreshing change of pace. Not a classic example of the style, but a hugely drinkable, low ABV, malt-forward beer.

12 ounce slim can, no date seen. Poured into tulip.
Pours opaque, deep caramel with one + inch of bone white head. Just the tiniest amount of lacing.
The nose is toffee, nutty and caramel.
Taste follows the nose plus some vanilla, and overall fruitiness I can’t seem to place. Maybe some red apple?
Smooth bodied and super easy to drink.
