I am sharing a bottle with this beer with my bestie at his house in Charlotte, NC. It poured an opaque dark with virtually no head and no lace. The scent had semi sweet chocolate and roast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip with light sweet malt bade with subtle chocolate and roast presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

12 ounce bottle, no dating that I was able to find on it. Got this from a friend who went to NC about a week ago. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like chocolate, cream, roasted malt and some coffee. For the most part the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some vanilla noticeable too. Taste leans more sweeter, but not overpoweringly so. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought it was a good overall milk stout, worth trying if you get the chance to!

Drinking this at The Bearwaters Brewery in downtown Canton NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Appears very dark brown, nice lacing with a dark foamy tan head that dropped to a thin cap.
Smells chocolate, coffee , sweet, milky, and vanilla.
Taste follows the nose.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style with a nice creamy finish.
Overall this is a very nicely done milk stout that I will definitely order again.
Cheers!

Look: It pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. Head retention is good.
Smell: It has a moderately strong roasted grain aroma with some coffee and cream in support. There is a light dark fruit element in the background.
Taste: It has a cream and roasted flavor that is a little bit sweet. There is a very low vanilla element in the background.
Feel: It has a medium body that is quite creamy. The sweetness rises to a moderate level in the finish.
Overall, the sweetness is on point and not overdone. The flavors are pronounced and enjoyable.

Very deep color, pretty much opaque as a stout should be. Pours a lovely tan head, creamy and long lasting.
A nice cocoa and cream aroma, sweet with some chocolate.
A hit of roastiness up front, then a slightly sweet coffee/chocolate kind of flavor into the finish. Some hints of fruity esters
Medium body, medium-low carbonation. Fairly creamy and smooth.
Definitely not a style with which I have great familiarity, but was what I expected. A sweeter, gentler version of a stout. Good on them for attempting to do something out of the ordinary.
