Pours with one finger of dark brown head on a black body. The aroma is full of chocolate, vanilla, graham cracker, and cinnamon. Surprising light body with mocha, spicy hops, cola, and lightly rummy vanilla. Medium body, moderate carbonation, and a dry finish. Smells really, really good and sadly the flavor isn't nearly as complex. Still nicely done, but I wish it was about two percent stronger and proportionately thicker.

Thin head disappears rapidly on a jet black body and scattered lacing. Cola, brown sugar, cocoa, vanilla and roasted malts but these are mild. The barrel aged part isn't really coming through in the aroma. Flavor includes oak throughout with dark chocolate and roast up front finishing sweeter with brown sugar and cola. Even some strawberries. Light to medium body and moderate carbonation. It's actually not all that bad. Very drinkable, not amazing but better than I expected. Highly drinkable.
