this place was really cool, still cant believe it took me so long to make it in, i drive past all the time. they have a one barrel brewery in the back, and quite a handful of esoteric ales on tap that they brew in house, but they also have a nice selection of all colorado craft beers on tap, tons of them really, and the list is pretty impressive. some breweries on i have never seen on tap anywhere else. the beer i had from them was very good, a spiced winter warmer with cinnamon and almonds, i really dug it, subtle and well made. the guest beers were solid as well, some particularly heady, very cool concept. the place is set up in an old house it looks like, with lots of rooms off the main bar area and even an upstairs area. prices were really fair for what i had to drink, and the service was friendly and did a great job handling a larger crowd. food looked solid too, although i only had time for a few beers, i definitely intend to go back and check it out. they dont seem like they push the brewery thing too hard, which maybe they should. i really liked the one i had, and it looked like the others were equally interesting. you might not even know it was a brewery without some inside information, as the brew house is hidden from view and the beers get only a small corner of their drink menu. fun stop, very cool place to explore some of the smaller craft breweries in colorado too.

V-Colorado Plus is located in the old-school Denver suburb of Wheat Ridge. The place is sorta dark and feels more bar/pub like than many of the breweries and brew pubs around town. I visited on Memorial Day for lunch and the place was mellow with a few regulars and passers by enjoying lunch and a pint or two. The space is pretty good sized with a bar that seats maybe ten, lots of tables, and a smaller patio out front. Reminds me a little bit of the Bull and Bush.
Q-The beers -- those brewed by Colorado Plus and the guest taps -- are well done. The selection on tap is all Colorado brewed and Colorado Plus does a nice job of mixing good stuff from established houses like Avery and smaller names like Four Noses. I also enjoyed two out of the three Colorado Plus beers that I tasted.
Ser-The bartender was a little hungover (by his own admission), but he was prompt and mostly friendly. He knew about all of the beers on offer (I didn't ask, but I think he might have been a brewer), as well as the food menu. The pours were in correct glassware and poured at the right temperature with just a little bit of head.
Sel-The selection here is pretty awesome if you want to drink Colorado craft beer. There were about ten Colorado Plus taps, plus another forty beers from other Colorado craft brewers. Nothing super rare, but lots of good options from stout to cider to IIPA to Belgian styles.
F-The black been burger that I had for lunch was pretty damn tasty. Nothing high-brow, but good solid pub food. Prices were within the norm.
O-This place was a pleasant surprise. The beers were tasty, the selection was outstanding, the food was good, and the vibe was OK. If I lived/worked nearby, I think I would become a regular here.

I liked this place - better food than you'd expect (though a bit pricey), and a huge list of Colorado beers on tap at all times. Obviously the way to go here is to build your own flight, where you can get 5 4-oz pours of whatever you want. Some of the fancier beers might add a buck or two, but there's a great variety of local brews on tap so you can always find at least five worth trying.

Started the Super Bowl here by chance, w my son. An excellent line-up of 50 or 60 so Colorado taps, lots that I had never tasted... but also lots that i had not heard much about.
Not being a "sports" bar it was slow, but that lent to great converstions with the staffers. Service was excellent. Food and drink were very reasonably priced, and my son loved the home made chicken tenders. i will definitely be back with the family for a meal and more brews.

I showed up here on opening night and they were experiencing POS problems. Not surprising; those POS companies are PoSes.
Anywho, nice crowd. Met a councilwoman from Wheat Ridge there. She's nice. Place is a bit bare on the overhead, but really, who cares? Makes it feel less cozy I s'pose. Layout is interesting with seating kind of all over. Upstairs is a smaller bar/art room. Patio! yes, I love me patios.
All beer/cider on tap is Colorado-ians. Good selection, and with the CO beer scene growing they won't have much trouble filling the taps. Nothing really out of the ordinary, but they were lining p some Strange and I think Rickoli. Not sure about that, though. I had Ambassador from Dry Dock and Tree Shaker from Odell. Not a bad night.
Food menu is small, but seems enough. Saw a cheese plate or something. Didn't pay too much attention as I was chatting it up with Tim from Strange. Good place
