500ml Crowler from Brewdog Glasgow (£3.30):
Opaque black with a bubbly, light brown head that ends up quite thin looking. Dark malts & chocolate open the nose is some lactose sweetness & orange zest. It's slightly smoky at the end with an earthy bitterness too. This is carried over to the taste with the smoky flavours & earthy malts strongest, there's some light chocolate & orange again but it's not as sweet, with touches of cardamom at the end too. It's medium to full bodied, quite smooth, coming with soft carbonation &lingering smoky aftertaste.
