Brewed for the 3rd anniversary of Brazillian beer blog FullPintBR.
500mL bottle to a snifter, shared with injuredreserve.
Pours a muddy brown, not fully opaque, light tan finger of head when poured very aggressively, dissipated very quickly to a still looking liquid. The aroma has a caramel nose, which is somewhat abnormal for the style. Some roasted notes and brown sugar, hints of chocolate, and a mineral aroma. Taste was brown sugar, some roast, and chocolate. Body was medium, somewhat thin. But creamy.
All in all, its okay, mostly average. A little thin, some off flavors and aromas, and it just doesn't hit the mark for an imperial stout.
