Thanks to Erzengel for the opportunity to try this. 500ml swingtop bottle. Pours a brownish/plum color with a loose, off-white head that dissipates into a soapy slick with a tight band around the edges. Nose expresses plum pudding, yeast and a bready character - wonderfully hearty. Taste is somewhat watery and dull - more bready than fruity with some residual yeast at the back. There's also a kiss of something tannic towards the back. Mouthfeel is a bit watery with a light-medium consistency and an even carbonation that falls just shy of lively. Overall, somewhat dull and watery.
