Bought from a gas station in St Johnsbiry and forgot to check dates and this appears to be 6 mo. Old. Fizzy pale orange brown. An aroma I’ve never noticed before in a beer. Sort of a smokiness but not as pronounced as in a Rauchbier. Taste is equally unique. It’s kinda malty and slight caramel flavor but also hoppy and a crisp finish. Really interesting yet tasty beer.

Pours a light amber from the can, short half-inch head that leaves very light lacing. Nose is metallic with nice notes of grass, hay, and lemon. Taste is pleasantly bitter, earthy, and spicy up front settling into a long, dry finish. Just a small amount of malt to help provide a small amount of balance. Clean and crisp with solid carb.

A: The beer is somewhat hazy yellow in color and has light hues of amber along with a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that has excellent retention properties and left lots of rings of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of grassy hops are present in the nose along with notes of spicy hops.
T: The taste has flavors of grassy hops with notes of pale malts and hints of spicy hops. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied, clean and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This later is well hopped - both in the smell and taste - as the Saaz really shines through.

16 oz. can.
Canned 12/01/20.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 1.5 inch off white head over a beautifully bright light amber body with nice lacing. Nose has Saaz hops' requisite earthy, herbal and spicy notes. Taste follows with slight spice coming forward to surpass the slighter earthy and herbal notes. Nice feel and overall, what a great beer to enjoy with a swordfish dinner!
Cheers to the guys up in Mo'Vegas for another really good beer!!
