Cool beer (bear). Different but correlated to the regular version. This one has the juniper like the regular - but real heavy on the whiskey. I like them both a lot - like the non BA a bit better. But both are super well made.

L - Cloudy and rust colored. No head created by pouring into a pint glass but ample carbonation released post-pour to create a ring as well as a thin layer with very fine bubbles that momentarily clings to the side of the glass as it is tipped.
S - Dried fruit sweetness, alcohol and a very slight funk.
T - Very complex with wine notes a long tart finish.
F - Medium body with bit of an alcohol burn and a mild spiciness reinforced by the carbonation lingers
O -First one of this style but compelling, interesting style.

Pours a murky burgundy with two fingers of dense khaki foam. Head retention is okay with lacing forming a dense curtain around the glass. Aroma is strong, hitting notes of steong juniper berry, rye, and herbal and floral hops. It comes off extremely dry save for the juniper berry notes. For some reason, this smell is what I think the prairie adjacent to Whiterun in Skyrim would smell like. Flavor profile is dense juniper berries with a swift, hot kick from rye whiskey and char. It is high octane for the style, with that heat seeping through the cracks. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a plush, velvety texture. Overall, big and deep. By far the biggest sahita I've had to date, but also the only whiskey barrel aged. Heat lingers like a well made 12% ABV whiskey stout.
