5 oz pour on tap at Lures Bar & Grille. Pours a light brown with maybe a hint of purple. Smell is really weird with acidity, a strange woodiness, funk, dark fruit, and dark roasted malts. Intriguing, but weird - I'm almost scared to taste it. However, the taste is very different. Sweet, stout-like, thin, very little acidity or funk and not really any of the fruit the description promised. HUGE letdown. Mouthfeel is kind of flat and almost cloying.

Had on tap. Bubbly golden pour with a big white head that fades into a ring. Smell has wisps of red wine with solid oak, apricot, flowers, lemon, pineapple orange, and peach. Taste really blew me away, completely surprising me on how much wood tannins and red wine lay underneath all of those fruits with a honey like sweetness bridged together by soil, sweet bread and acidic funk. Feel is bright but decently weighty, with some acidity and funk that artfully compliment the foeder elements, but nitpicking it as it warms make me believe it could be a touch cleaner
