Pours an effervescent gold with a pinky of beige head. Some head retention & lacing

S: Plenty of citrus, a little Chardonnay

T: Tart orange, salt, dryness, & white grapes up front. Tart orange, salt, dryness & white wine notes as this beer warms up. Finishes tart, salty with orange & oaky Chardonnay

MF: Medium body, delicate carbonation

This is a fun take on the style that stays pretty close to the intent, pretty easy to drink

Released 6/14/23; drank 7/2/23 @ the Yarchives.

Cloudy pale yellow appearance.

A rough pour yielded a HUGE bright white head; frothy lacing remained.

Honeyed grain & faint tart white grape notes in the nose.

Medium thin mouthfeel.

This tastes like a decent mimosa (champagne & orange juice). It's a bit more acidic, not in a great way (it's like some grapefruit was added as well).

It's drinkable, but...just have a mimosa if that's what you want.

Another awesome beer from off color! This beer delivers a great mimosa taste and aroma that is still much in keeping with an actual beer. Definitely no other beer like this one :)

Pale pastel yellow gold, plenty of foam at first that fizzles quickly.

Aroma is pleasant, unique citrus, a little bit of sweet juice.

Taste is tart and straightforward, sweet orange and white wine, a little too sweet for me. It lingers and gets a little fatiguing over time. The blend is good, just a little too much sweetness. Acidity can burn the throat too, I must be getting old, lol. Light bodied with high acidity. Overall it’s good but I like Spots and Yuzu Fierce better. Thanks to Chris for this one! Beer #9000

a brilliant berliner here, my wife and i were impossibly stoked on this yesterday, one of the better adjunct examples of the style i can remember ever having, really special stuff, mimosa inspired with orange and chardonnay grape juice in it, perfect as a breakfast beer, but i would drink this anytime, anywhere, its truly fantastic, as is so often the case with off color, stoked to have this available in idaho. very pale straw colored brew with a short and short lived white head, creamy and thick from the can but its gone in a couple minutes. bright citrus and vinous notes to the nose, clean and pretty delicate bacterial souring here, no sharp edges at all, some light raw type wheat to the base, earthy minerals, very drying, floral, and balanced. i love the flavor here, more and more from the wine grapes as it warms, but the subtle orange essence does give it summery patio mimosa vibes, way more from grape than orange though the whole way. a pretty clean ferment on this, very dry, tart without being acidic, i could drink a half dozen of these no problem, and without the hangover of the mimosa either! great carbonation, lots of life to this, and really cool nuance and complexity and integration of concept and recipe. its really well executed, ill be buying more of this one...

Beer for Brunch is a niche beer executed perfectly. It is light, bright and has the color of white wine. Mimics a mimosa/light beer so I could see a lot of brunchers getting into this one.

Pours a glowing yellow with tons of fizzy white head that hung around for longer than I was expecting. Nose is relatively nondescript, with a typical berliner sourness mixed with some orange juice aromas. On the tongue, this is really interesting. Absolutely reminds me of the beer equivalent of a mimosa. Light and refreshing, with the orange & grape juice flavors omnipresent but balanced enough so as to not overpower the base berliner weisse underneath. This beer is very appropriately named, as it really would be a perfect brunch beer.

Look: Pours light and hazy with a quickly dissipating head

Fragrance: Smells of grapes and wheat.

Feel: The carbonation lasted a long time despite the quickly dissipating head. I would consider the mouthfeel typical of a Berliner Weisse: thin but not particularly watery.

Taste: The first thing you will taste is the sourness which defines this style. The lasting carbonation adds to the crispness. Hops are present as you continue, but even though I generally dislike hops I find the balance with the sourness to be very pleasant. The aftertaste is more bitter than sour but both are present.

Overall: The sourness balances very well with the bitterness for a complex taste that will leave you wanting more. This stands out as one of my favorite Berliner Weisses or sours in general.
