Pours a chill hazed gold with one finger of pearl colored head. Minimal head retention & lacing
S: Lemons, salt. Mescal barrel once warm
T: Follows the nose, with a oaky dry & tasty Mescal hit, lime as well up front. Lime, salt, Mescal barrel & dryness as this beer warms through. Finishes lemony, salty with some Mescal dryness
MF: Medium body, lively carbonation, some enamel chewing tartness
Fun, tasty Gose, worth a pickup if you enjoy the style. This time of the year I am a fan

Brief Review:
O: Was surprised to see this hit our market in 12 oz format. Beer for Tacos is a classic, and this is the Mezcal BA version. Closest comp would be maybe Founder's Más Agave, which is Tequila I believe. This one blows that way out of the water. The Founder's beer is too sweet and sticky. The oakiness from the Mezcal is nice, and the gose base is way more traditional. Surprisingly a low ABV on this, but works great with food pairing (enchiladas for this one!).
Recommendation: Another great one from Off Color, always wiling to experiment.
