6%ABV. per website.Pours a dark chocolate brown with sticky half finger deep beige head atop.Aromas are faintly woody and coffee roast.Very dry and roasted on the palate I don't really get much mocha but alot of the java end of it.A little thinner and mildly sharp in the feel department.Eh not bad but not something to search out.

look: Very dark ruby. Huge fluffy mocha head.
smell: A little of the traditional roasty char. Mocha and Java are understated, as in barely there.
taste: see nose notes. Same here. The breweries profile reads,"Mocha Java Porter is the love child of our Irish Stout and Nut Brown Ale with the addition of artisan cacao nibs and locally-roasted Bald Guy cold extract espresso. " I'm sure not tasting those nibs or the espresso. Smooth and tasty Porter though.

Had a rubbery aroma. I think it might be attributed to the quality of water used to brew. Other than that, not bad.
