Chronic D’ Aphotic is our dark winter offering combining four of our farm’s most resinous hop varieties, Chinook, Cascade, Crystal, and Nugget. Organic oats lend a smooth, creamy mouthfeel, and organic German roasted malt brings a firm essence of chocolate. Chronic D’ Aphotic literally means the perpetual state of a complete absence of light, so cheers to the sunlight coming back to us again!

Served on tap into a shaker glass.
A- Poured a dark brown with off-white frothy head that left webbed lacing.
S- Lots of peach, grapefruit and piney hope. Some big roasted malt notes.
T- Big roasted malt and coffee notes. Huge peach, grapefruit, and piney hops. Pretty big bready and caramel notes. Pretty high bitterness.
M- Very creamy, smooth, dry, and prickly carbonation.
O- Very assertive hop and roasted malt character with a creamy mouthfeel. Top notch for the style.
