much like the wit they do, how can you serve me a nearly flat cream ale? it just doesnt work in this style, and it is evident to me after todays visit that they still have some series issues getting beers charged up adequately. it almost doesnt matter that this is a tasty recipe, well made, fuller bodied, and somewhat unique tasting, because it feels dead on the palate, the exact antithesis of what this style should be, and i was really disappointed by it. its a shame when the details sort of spoil the whole experience, but thats whats going on with some of these beers here. figure it out! rant over, the beer itself is very good, and thats what makes me give them the benefit of the doubt. fluffy body, clean finish, lots of fresh grain flavor, even a little more hops than most, so its bold in every way. if it was effervescently carbonated, it would be a top notch example of the style. i hope they can get it together, the wit was the exact same situation...

 

I love the name, one of my favorites ;). In the cream pie catagory for sure.
