Copenhagen 31/10 2021. 44 cl can from Systembolaget, Vallgatan, Ă…hus. Drawing of hunched gumshoes in a set up with a lot of stairs and a mystic cosmic doorway. Cartoonish in a pretty cool way.
Pours opaque, hazy, slightly dirty, yellow with a big white head. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a bit of tropical fruits and stone fruit. Citric notes. Caramel and toffee. Mango and peach. Grapefruit and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sour twist. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
Quite light and easily drinkable for a DIPA. But with a fine intensity and bitterness.
