Our Belgian IPA was oaked on freshly emptied Napa Valley Zinfandel barrels, and pours an orangish, ruby color with an aroma of honey and vanilla from the oak as well as a distinct citrus zest from the Belgian yeast. The hops lend a moderate balancing bitterness with floral and grassy aromas. Oak comes through again with a unique red wine-like finish that keeps you coming back for more.

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, ruby-amber coloring, with a halo of off-white head. Nose of old world fruit (date and fig), with sugary sweet notes highlighting. The flavors have that same sugary sweetness forward, with a date, fig, and cherry blend on the palate. Rich and oily body, providing a slick feel throughout. The aftertaste is heavily roasted, with pepper notes in the forefront, followed by apple, candied sugar, and caramel into the finish. Slick, oily finish, with a tangy sweet linger.

The color is brilliant and coppery with an off white froth. The nose has maple, coconut, oak and tropical fruits. Flavors are full of the barrel with oak and I swear there's bourbonesque qualities. It's a touch fruity with some caramel malt and a light finish of bitter piney hops. The feel is bitter and thin but it drinks easily. Not much wine and not much IPA this is still a rather good Ale.

Murky copper body with a off-white cap. Big dry wine, oak, and belgian yeast fill the nose, slight must, floral and grassy hops drop in light citrus and pineapple. Taste starts with yeast and hops, zesty citrus with flowers and slight grass before a giant wave of vinous and musty yeast backed by dry oak finishing with a lingering pungency. Feel is dry, musty, medium bodied, chewy and has a bitter finish.

750ml pour into a tulip glass. Part of the Ringmaster's reserve series.

A- Pour is redish amber. The barrels have effected the color of this beer very nicely. Strong foamy head like Belgian IPA should be. Very nice.

S- Belgian yeast, hint of banana, cherry, zin, dates and some alcohol. No hop aroma.

T- Very rich. Lots of malt, red wine and oak. Finish is dry. Alcohol is somewhat sweet in the middle.

M- Smooth, finish is dry. Alcohol is rich with the wine barrels creating some tannin characters.
