El Dorado and Azacca are just made for each other, and this beer is a prime example. Together they waltz to the tune of fruity and candy like flavors and aromas, while providing plenty of spiciness to the ale. Really liked the feel, chewy, full and bright on the finish.

Poured into a Delirium Tremens snifter. No freshness date.
A- Pours an orangeish medium amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a large center patch of surface foam. Semi-resilient lacing leaves small clots behind.
S- Sweet aroma briefly brings to mind cotton candy, then the hops come in with a nice fruity character.
T- Again, sweet with some surprising bubble gum notes. Bitter, but not assertively so. The hops display a somewhat spicy, herbal quality that plays well with the sweetness which I can only assume is coming from the malt.
M- Somewhat oily from the hops with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.
O- Hi-wire has really stepped up their game lately, especially with the hoppy beers. If this is a sign of things to come, I'd expect big things from them in 2016.

A: pours a clear honey-orange with a finger of white head that fades into a frothy ring with a little lacing.
S: Lots of tropical and melon aromas here: cantaloupe, papaya, pineapple, and mango come to mind. Smells amazing.
T: Lot of melon flavors going on here as well with cantaloupe, mango, honeydew, and papaya sticking out. The finish has an earthy pine kick, though, with moderate bitterness.
M: Medium body and carbonation, this beer has a bit of an oily feel to it but is still nicely drinkable.
O: A damn good IPA, overall. I love the melon flavors and aromas going on, separating it from most other IPAs.
