A: Pours a crystal clear copper in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint amber + orange highlights. The beer has a three finger tall foamy dark beige head that very slowly reduces to a thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice) along with some light aromas of pumpkin and vanilla.

T: Upfront there is a light flavor of grainy + toasted malts with just a hint of sweetness and light to moderate flavors of pumpkin. There are moderate flavors of pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice) along with light flavors of vanilla and hazelnut. Very light herbal hops notes in the finish which fades away pretty quickly and leave s just a hint of bitterness.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp and clean.

O: Well balanced and not too sweet which is less typical for the style - many of the pumpkin beers available are a lot sweeter. Easy to drink and enjoyable, a different take on the style - hybrid of the Vienna lager and traditional pumpkin ale.
