Our Limited Lager Series sheds light on some of our favorite lager styles while utilizing regionally crafted ingredients whenever possible. Brewed with Pilsen, Ruby, & Bruehmalt from Epiphany Craft Malt, our Red Lager is brewed to be robust enough for winter yet drinkable enough to keep you coming back for more. Bruehmalt lends notes of honey and biscuits while Ruby malt creates a distinct amber hue with flavors of dark fruits like plum and fig.

Purchased as a 6oz draft pour from The Blue Door a couple of days ago. I wrote this review on my laptop and forgot to submit it.
L - Clear ruby, with a very pale tan head - measuring two-fingers.
S - Freshly-baked bread, with mild toffee and earth.
T - Follows nose completely. Well-balanced, with enough hoppy earthiness to balance the heavy toffee notes.
F - Medium in body, with plenty of carbonation. Smooth and refreshing.
O - A relatively average red lager, but I feel like it's not exactly trying to be more than that - and that's perfectly fine! I wouldn't go out of my way to get this one, but if you're at a restaurant and it's on tap, go for it.

12/30....pours deep amber red with white foam ring. Light caramel bread nose. Simple layered lager taste with an amber caramel wrapper. Smooth and sweet. Bready but clean. Solid.
