This tastes like cucumber, not a flavor that I like. I tried to be objective but the cucumber is so strong.

They should call it a cucumber berliner as that overpowers any other flavors.

This was a drain pour for me and I don't drain pour much.

I'm a big fan of most of Hi-Wire's stuff but this is rank.

 

 

This is an odd but tasty brew. When poured the head vanishes quickly and leaves nothing behind. The scent and taste is filled with cucumber. The vegetable dominates everything about this beer. There is a little of the orange peel and maybe some of the juniper berries. There is a mild tartness and tang on the back of the tongue when drinking and a crackery flavor lingers after the beer is swallowed. I drank this on a hot day and it was amazingly refreshing but I just wish the cucumber was scaled back a bit to let the other flavors through.
