A new style that ha something to recommend it. Pours a cloudy light amber that resembles some of the NEIPAs. Nice head and decent lacing. Taste is reminiscent of some Belgium beers. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side. I'm on the fence about this new style IPA. I am not convinced it will be a repeat for me but I may try it again.

a really solid example of this newish style that is taking off like absolute crazy right now. this is one of the stronger ones i have seen, its super dry, and super dry hoppy, really tasty stuff, but all of the hoppy beers we had here were awesome, seems like thats what they do best! a nice bright color to this and a uniform haziness, heady from the tap and cleaner looking than many of these east coast styles. it smells like skittles candy to me, sweet orange and melon and kiwi, and the flavor is just about as good as the nose, the hops really come through well. pineapple candy, subtle fresh coconut flesh, ripe melon and citrus, downright delicious. there is a honey sort of note here too, but it doesnt seem to be from the grain, which is simple, less starchy than most, i guess thats the brut part right? dry at the finish but still rich feeling from all the hops. a very well made beer, highly drinkable for its sneaky strength, and a fine example of this style. i didnt expect to like this so much, really solid!
