I am drinking a can of this beer at my bestie's house in Charlotte, NC. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle hunts of tangerine. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Taking the hop experimentation to the singular side, Hi-Wire"s ampersand hop series takes a pitstop at the single source home of Cashmere Hops.
Light and creamy taupe at its pour, the Cashmere version of Hazy&Juicy&Hoppy&Fresh crowns with a creamy white cap before slowly drawing the nose with mild citrus, melon and red berry before gracing the tongue with a creamy, cereal-sweet maltiness of shortcake and bread dough.
As the ale simmers on the middle palate, its sweetness slowly lightens and the Cashmere hops pulls gradually from the grains with a light orange, mango, apricot flavor. Not to be outdone, a taste of cantaloup brings out hints of currant and a juicy melon delicacy. Fairly mild in its bitterness, the hops close the session with a peppery green tea bite and a softer hint of candied cashew.
Medium bodied, creamy and subtle for an IPA on the finish, the Cashmere fueled beer trails in a smooth, lightly fruity afterglow. With this exercise with the unique hop variety, it appears the the hop could add a mild mannered level of complexities to other hops, but as a standalone variety, it just doesn't pack enough of a punch to carry the full workload of IPA.
