Poured a black body with minimal head and very little lace. Aroma has notes of chocolate with a lactic quality and touches of grape/grape jelly (if it's something different I can't tell). Smooth, medium body, actually easy to drink although falls into dessert beer (meaning I couldn't keep drinking these). Has a chocolate sweetness with a touch of "jelly" and some lactic slickness as well. Decent beer that is worth trying and must say the ABV is well-hidden.

Another 10W-40 Off shoot, brewed with vanilla, chocolate, boysenberries, sweet cherries, deconstructed donut glaze and lactose. So far can honestly say none has beat the original inn my opinion.
Pours a oil black no light showing through this baby nice thumb sized coco head that falls to a ring and laces well.
Aroma is nice lots of roasted malts big on chocolate, lactose sweetness, vanilla some fruitiness not really sure about what a boysenberry is though, some cherry hints after mixed in. Definite more sweet then the original but its not over done at least as far as the nose goes, does miss out on good coffee notes though.
Taste is like the nose roasted notes and chocolate, sweet like a jelly donut even if the jelly filling is on the lighter side. Its sweet but not to the point of being cloying, not much noticeable hops just enough to balance the sweetness out. More l drink the sweeter it seems to get first couple of sips would of rated it higher but leaning to 4 now.
Mouthfeel is big medium all the lactose might give it more body then the original, nice mellow carbonation suites this beer fine.
Overall not a bad version, make a great desert brew, still not as great as the original but better then some of the other variants.
