This is just super mid. Like its literally just something to drink. More biscuity than anything. Only good thing is it was free.

Consumed from a can (29Apr2021)
L: consumed from the can, nothing to say here
S: THP-forward, unfortunately. Get that Cheerios/biscuity aroma, the dominant aroma for me. There's a bit of general "tart" lurking behind but fairly restrained. Wouldn't say I get much upfront in the raspberry/lemon arena - some lemon if I hunt for it, but may also be creating it
T: follows the nose unfortunately, huge THP-driven finish that overrides most everything else about the beer. There's a hint of that raspberry/lemon character at the start of the sip, but the Cheerios character comes in hot soon after and carries through the finish. It's slightly tart, would have liked that punched up a bit more
F: light+ body, medium+ carbonation, slightly drying, dances on the tongue a bit which I appreciate
O: a shame, was looking forward to downing a few of these over the holiday weekend! THP is the star of the show, doesn't really deliver that tart and refreshing lemonade character I expected

With the warmer weather upon us, it's time to put away those winter clothes and shed those winter pounds. Along with this change comes the welcome of swimsuits and lemonade. And Hi-Wire has just a beer in mind.
With a golden, peachy-pink pour, Pink Lemonade floats a creamy white froth with a tangy, fruity and citrusy scent hovering over the glass. It's mild mannered scent translates to an equally mild mannered taste with a creamy malt upstart based around angel food cake, agave and light taffy.
Its the culmination of lemon, raspberry and the sour ale underneath that creates the overall impression of pink lemonade. The tug of sourness on the tastebuds comes with its own lemon, lime, white grape, green apple and gooseberry flavors while the addition of raspberry adds a pleasant layer of flavor without dominating the natural lactic acidity. Its late flavors are lightly creamy, tart, low in bitterness, and quite shy on the pink lemonade impressions.
Light, creamy and playful in its sourness, the beer finishes sweet-tart and with a mild overcast of raspberry that plays out in a short and fairly clean aftertaste. Pink Lemonade is a fine and friendly beer that simply lacks intensity or enough complexity to remain memorable.

Look: It pours pinkish orange with a white head with tinged pink. Head retention is very good.
Smell: It has a spicy and grassy aroma up front. There is strong lemongrass with sourness being noticeable and low raspberry.
Taste: The lemonade flavors with lemon peel and lemongrass and the up front and bold flavors. The raspberry and sweetness are in the background with a moderate amount of sourness.
Feel: It has a medium light body.
Overall, for me the lemongrass dominates a bit then the lemon peel comes in with the other flavors coming in afterwards.
