Poured from the can into a Pokal style glass.
Deep rich toffee brown and red bodied. Opaque with a hint of chestnut brown towards the bottom too. Real yellow vanilla to khaki colored creamy looking head, easily punching three fingers and settling to a nice puck. Real nice looking brew.
Very nice aroma to go with it. Punches a light coffee toasty angle, crispy sensing, and hints of sweet waffer like candy. Faint hints of light cocoa in the mix as well interestingly too, with matching brown bread and toast complimenting.
Palate just hits the right buttons. Crisp tasting malt bill with toasty and crackling aromas. Large hits of light medium roasted like coffee giving angles of light chestnuts, crisp cocoa, and even some milk in the mix too. Sweet touches of cocoa on the finish, but with a real crispy crackery dryness that accentuates the malt bill and coffee angle so well.
This is a real nice creation, light crispy coffee lager.. What a great combo.
