Pours a chill hazy golden color with just a touch of orange, nice big thumb sized off white head form aggressive pour. Great lacing good looking brew anyway.
Aroma is citrus notes with some pine backing to be honest for a fresh I2PA that says very dank on the can it is a bit disappointing. Some light dankness maybe but swear I have had Pale Ales danker.
Taste ok I know 2.75 is bad and this beer isn't really bad its just surprisingly not very hoppy. Descent malt back bone light citrus hops grapefruit hints of pineapple with the lightest sprinkling of pine needles you could get. Just kind of blah I swear you could use this as a starter IPA for someone who doesn't like hops. Again some Pale Ales are hoppier then this.
Mouthfeel is fine good big medium body with smooth carbonation.
Overall if you like big IPA's I would not buy this, this is my second can as I bought 2 because Hi-Wire is usually the bomb. Guess everyone makes a bad beer occasionally.

Fresh from the Cascade chambers, Hi-Wire Brewing doesn't play well with other hops. They use the Cascade variety exclusively in a bold, juicy IPA where those hops have seen special treatment to retain much more of its lupulin and oily glory.
Pale gold and set in a formidable but reasonable haze, Cryo immediately starts teasing the nose with the simple but tried and true citrusy scent and a fragrant piney complement. Sweeter but equally as simple, the malt profile is faint with caramel but also mildly honey-like and of softly toasted grains.
As the flavors unfold, the radiance of pink grapefruit rise to overtake the fleeting malts while evoking modest flavors of pineapple, lime and peach. Trending into the familiar territory of spruce, pine and botanical grassiness, the bitterness is firm, sharp and still with the smoothness that's expected in hazy IPA.
Medium bodied and trending malty-dry, the beer's finish comes with an herbal grassiness, similar to wet-hopped IPA but with a greater fruit-forward character. A medium long aftertaste of fruit puree is laced with herb, hemp and hay; outlasted only but the peppery hop resins that extend slightly onward. Cascade- I didn't think you had this in you.
