I am drinking a can of this beer at my bestie's house in Charlotte, NC. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had faint dank citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle citrus forward presence and subtle fruit peel spice finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Let the complete abuse of ampersands continue as the Hi-Wire brewers roll through the hazy hop experiments, this time landing on Strata, Waimea, Enigma and Idaho 7 varieties on an imperial "hazy" IPA base.
Golden orange and sharing a less hazy than usual appearance, the frothy Hazy & Juicy & Hoppy & Fresh begins teasing the nose with citrus, stone fruit, tropical fruit and melon with the first pass of the nose. With hints of grassy herbs in the backdrop, the taste soon leans in with a light honey and caramel sweetness, a mild cereal tone and a general sense of toasted pastry crust.
With the malt influence fading and the hops building on the middle palate, a bold citrus flavor circulates around the radiance of mandarin oranges and a hint of red grapefruit. As flavors of mango, apricot, cantaloup and peach bring about a mix of tropical and orchard fruit, they seem to have a slight candied character about them. Trending moderately bitter, a peppery hop bite is sharper than typical and carries a hint of curacao liqueur.
Medium bodied and malty-dry, this version of the Hazy series is a little brighter an exuberent in aroma but less creamy and smooth in finish, allowing for a crisper, cleaner hop bite in a medium long aftertaste of citrus peel and sprucy bitterness.

Please rouse before pouring!
16 oz can, canned 11/11/20, poured into a pint glass. Hazy orange with a finger and a half of head that retains for a good portion of the glass. The aroma is heavy citrus (orange/grapefruit) with some vanilla and pine notes. The taste is right in line with the nose, not too much hop bitterness, some grass/hop burn emerges as it warms. The feel is creamy, medium low amount of carbonation. Worth a go for a 4-pack.
