16 ounce can in a pint glass.
Cloudy medium pale yellow color. Thin white cap. Heavy ring and web lacing. Lots of bubbles and floaties. Cool looking inclusion artwork can.
Sour patch tropical fruit smell. Citrus candy, orange and grapefruit.
Grassy and grainy with tropical and citrus touches. Dry malt.
Medium bodied, fresh carbonation. Slightly sweet then a drying bitter finish.
Not bad for a tropical west coast style IPA, though not necessarily true to its roots. Good enough.

16oz can, wine glass, canned 8/10/21.
Light, crisp yellow with a relatively small head in stark white.
Yellow grapefruit, very fresh cut orange, lime zest, cantaloupe. A ton of fresh, crisp citrus.
They’ve done a great job of making it dry, but not boozy. It’s tangy, crisp, and interestingly citrusy. Lime zest and grapefruit, slightly floral. Very dry finish with medium-high hop bitterness.
Light body with medium carbonation. Very appropriate with lingering bitterness.
Very nice rendition of the classic west coast IPA. Keep ‘em coming! What a relief to see the beer world trending away from haze, even if only a few cans at a time.

Teaming up with Wicked Weed Brewing, the Asheville duo collaborates and listens to Carolina hop heads and attempts to bring bitter back. Their West-Coast IPA seems quite comfortable in these southern hills.
Asheville Loves Y'all jumps right out with a solid golden-chrome pour. As a frothy white cap builds upon, the spicy, floral and tropical scent of hops offer greetings of flowery bouquet, grassy hemp and fresh fruit. Mild mannered sweetness soon follows with suggestions of honeysuckle, bread crust and faint granola.
But the focus quickly shifts toward the hops as their bright scent develops a full fruit display of pineapple, mango and papaya with a background of citrus. Pink grapefruit, orange and lime add a bright and zesty taste for a well rounded, bright and racy flavor. Trending acutely bitter, the IPA closes with a spicy bitterness of pine resins, fresh grass and herb, and a gin-like kick.
Medium bodied and trending drier, the beer isn't as dry or as bitter dominant as many Californian or Oregonian IPAs, but its a departure of the persistent haze that's smothered the beerscape for quite some time. This love fest of a beer finishes fruity and bitter with a resinous extension of pine and fruit peels.
