South End IPA was brewed as a tribute to our shared neighborhood in Charlotte, NC with our friends at Resident Culture. In this timeless West Coast-style IPA that both breweries adore we used legendary Weyermann Pilsner malt and local to NC grown Vienna from Epiphany to build the perfect grain bill for Strata, Simcoe, and Amarillo from VSG Farms to shine. Hop notes include lush tropical fruit, cannabis, and citrus peel.

look: 4.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25
Appearance: Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a two finger head; strong retention and webby lacing

Smell: Papaya, pineapple and Clementine orange tones

Taste: Papaya and pineapple forward with a hint of berries; the malt underneath brings a touch of shortbread; through the middle, the Clementine orange adds a citrus aspect that brings a modest amount of bitterness to the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Very approachable with nice tropical and citrus tones; a bit of age on this can so the bitterness may have waned
