I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with bitter pineapple and tangerine presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Basking in their love of both West Coast IPA and Hazy IPA, brewers at Hi-Wire reel in the clever combination of Columbus, Pacific Sunrise and Strata hops for a blended taste that's best described as "juicy".

And when it's this good, you gotta say it twice. Juicy Juicy IPA kicks off with a glowing light gold appearance, hazy and capped with a tall cottony froth. As a fruity and herbal scent takes on proportions of tropical fruit, citrus, stone fruit and botanical greens. Soothingly sweet, the flavors of honeysuckle, agave, shortcake and faint caramel all create a soft malty sweetness on the early palate.

As the hops spring from the middle palate, the flavors of passionfruit, orange, papaya, apricot, grapefruit and mango all lead the way. Young in it fruit display, the juicy ale is nearly tangy before turning to a drier, crisper and more bitter balance late in taste. Pine, citrus peel, fresh grass clippings and hints of chive and hemp provide an herbal finish.

Medium bodied and trending dry, the beer's juicy upstart makes a vast transition toward dryness and bitterness to finish more classically bitter than most hazy ale. Finishing on the bitter side of bitter-sweet and with an overall malty-dry palate, the session comes to a medium-long aftertaste of fruit peels, herb and tea.
