Pours a dark brown color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of roasted malts and alcohol. Taste is cinnamon and coffee with a nice alcohol warmth. Thick and creamy.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Sierra Nevada Imperial Pint Glass
The beer pours a deep brown color with mahogany highlights and a big foamy head that recedes slowly, leaving behind very little lacing.
This aroma is bold and spicy with orange peel, nutmeg, cinnamon, and just a hint of barrel character. Muted notes of vanilla and toffee are also present.
The flavor is similar to the nose with a huge malt base with toffee and caramel, and quite a bit of holiday spices. The bourbon barrel is more prominent in the flavor than in the aroma. Moderately carbonated, and medium/full bodied.
Overall this is a very nice beer, that I will be revisiting before the season is over!
