16 oz can with a mostly legible ?/14/2025 canning date stamped on the bottom.

Appearance. Essentially black and opaque in my goblet but it has nice ruby colored edges. The limited amount of beige head leaves ample lacing on the glass.

Aroma. An enticing mix of vanilla, coffee and dark roasted grains.

Flavor. Although the aroma suggests a sweet, probably over sweet brew, there's plenty of bitterness from the coffee and, too a lesser extent, hops to counter the sweetness, leaving a near perfect bitter/sweet balance. The mix is also nicely harmonious, especially considering the strong and bold coffee addition.

Overall. A relatively strong entry in the 10W-40 series that will worth seeking out.

Canned on: ??????

A - Pitch black pour with creamy, dense, toffee colored lacing.

S - BIG caramel toasted toffee and butterscotch cream aroma.

T - Toasted toffee and caramel, chocolate, and with some cream while ending on the sweeter side.

M - Silky body with a wet finish and leaves a sticky residue on the lips.

O - This is a rock solid Imoerial Stout and worth checking out.

Not seeing an actual review for this picked it up at the vintage estate for under five bucks after tax. The pour is pretty great deep dark black beer nice half an inch mocha foam. Smell as well very vanilla forward doesn't smell too artificial very Bean with notes of chocolates and coffee. Taste is pretty great not super sweet like a dessert more of the like the description very Irish cream with notes of coffee dry hops and a good dose of vanilla for balance. Repeated sips are good balance of coffee and chocolate as well this is good stuff. Body is rather creamy as described medium to heavy quite a treat to sip not too bitter or boozy. Overall these guys really know how to make a good imperial Stout and this coffee vanilla variant is quite tasty.
