A: Light golden color, modest head.
S: Lightly sweet malt, with a citrusy aroma.
T: Straightforward mix of malt and hops. There's a little pepperiness in here I don't recognize, perhaps from the hop variety; I would have guessed a certain proportion of rye. But generally, tasty and no flavor dominating.
M: Smooth, clean texture.
O: Quite decent beer, worthy of drinking a few.

No beer better demonstrates a brewery's prowess at brewing like the classic American pale ale. Hi-Wire kicks things off with an earthy, herbal, floral and spicy bite that rides shotgun to the caramelized malt at the driver's seat.

Prime Time pours medium honey amber with a mild haze and a firm eggshell crown. Its scent is boldly of grapefruit, orange peel, grass, leaf and herb. With the sweetness coating the tongue, its verbose caramels reveal a sweeter tone with toasted pecan, bread crust, granola and graham cracker in tow.

The beer's even-keel balance on the middle palate never favors the hops nor malt, but allows the malt sweetness to relax slightly to allow for that bitter balance. Citrus peel, pith and pulp is tangy with hints of verbena and herbal spruce shaving. Resiny and bitter to close, the taste trends hoppy as the malts continue to dry and reveals the beer's more herbal, cannabis side.

Medium-bodied but trending light and dry, the malts take a back seat in finish while the hops extend well into aftertaste with its peppery, stemmy and citrusy aftertaste. Prime Time is a highly drinkable, dry and effortless pale ale that shows a light west coast tendency.

Had this from the source on a recent trip to asheville. Straight from the brewery, thus beer is super juicy and hoppy, lots of citrus and pine. Yummy

12/30...medium copper, some light sneaks through. Foamy white head. Pale malted nose, grainy. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Nice carbonation buzz. Easy mellow bitter blends into the pale nicely. Tasty.
